I've only ever felt forbidden, like I wasn't allowed in my own house. Why you ask, because I'm not allowed in the basement or the attic. I don't know why its a strictly vital area I can't go near but it is. Then one day I violated every rule my parents gave me. I unlocked the basement door and quietly snuck in. "Hello, mum?! Dad?!" A voice called out something stepped away from the shadows. A face identical to mine began shredding tears. "Ivy?!" She said and that was when I was told the full story. Ava couldn't survive and she dropped dead but Nixie, Autumn and Winter were alive yet their condition was terrible. I went and got them food. "Here, food for each of you. So why'd our parents put you here?" My older sister Nixie told me that after us quads were born I was the favourite and then our parents just became evil because we supposedly knew too much about a secret and the next thing we knew was we were here. The attic hides the truth." Nixie said. I was just about to sneak them in to my room when i heard my parents. They went past and we all ran to my bedroom to plan how to get to the attic. I then came out of the bedroom. "Mum, who's Nixie?" I asked as a distraction while Nixie actually went and got the chest of truth. Mum sat down with me and dad. She nodded at down and then began a whole conversation. I nodded and said yeah now and then. Not long after she started I was asleep. One question flooded my head. How can I feel forbidden if im the favourite child? I'm not, I never gave been and I never will be.
