I've searched for this in every excursion. I've eloped at the alter so many times. Packing my bags like a wild man.
Scram.
My coattail flew behind me as I shut the door and ran for my soul in the hills. Once a dirty child desperately cutting fields, eluding his abuser.
Now a man searching for the rainbow road in his gloomiest chapter.
I held tight to the wheel hounding the road like I had everything to lose. My foot against the gas; unmoving. And down the road I'm gone tryna find that place my soul must've died. Waiting to be unearthed again. I scour like a wild thing.
I, a tiger.
