1 1⁄2 lbs ground beef (meatloaf mix or a mixture of ground beef, ground pork, and/or veal work well also) 1 large egg, slightly beaten 1⁄2 cup grated parmesan cheese 1⁄3 cup breadcrumbs 1-2 tablespoons fresh minced garlic 1-2 teaspoons onion powder 1-2 teaspoons kosher salt 1 teaspoon black pepper 1⁄3 cup milk 1-2 tablespoons total of your favorite Italian spices Shape into balls and bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Add to your favorite sauce.
