Let me just tell you... life isn't fair,

The world isn't forgiving,

The path of life is just obstacles and hard ships,

There is no such thing as a "reward" at the end....

No treasure...

Or at least not for me anyway...

Everyone calls me V... but my name is Violet. To be honest I despise being called that now and I guess you will understand later. I'm just a simple 16 year old girl that many would just look over.

Or rather thats what I think and trust me it's true. I don't like my ginger hair and I especially hate my dull hazel eyes....

My mother had those eyes....

My parents..... I miss them.

When I was just eight and still a naive child to say least, my parents... were killed.

We used to live in Washington before it happened. It was just supossed to be a camping trip. But that night.... we got viciously attaked

Wolves....

Why wolves?

Why my parents?

Morning came and I was found hiding in some bushes, lucky to be alive or something like that. I can't remember anything, but it's probably a gift I don't remember anything from that horrible night. I dont know what to believe and I dont care...

I just can't deal with any of it.

I had no family after that so I was put into foster care. I've went through so many foster families that I got sick of it.

My family is gone...

They can't be replaced...

So why try?

A little after I turned 12 I ran far away from everything....

I dont want any reminder...

I live on the streets now and I guess you can say I'm homeless, but I don't need a home anyway.

It's better this way.

This is just me now... living that unfair life in this unforgiving world.

I can only ask...

Why that day?

That horrible day...

The day I wish never had happened...

Why them?

Why then?
