chapter 1

the way the game is played is how the dream fades



(Kaylas p.o.v.)
”KAYLA” was what i woke up to this morning, hi, im kayla feelings , the sister of nightmare and dream, and i work for my own brother heh, well it would be awesome if he didn’t nearly murder me if i make a big mistake but he’s my brother so, anyways i grudgingly fell out of bed and stood I changed into my dark blue sweater and gray jeans and by that i mean i slept in them, I quickly brush my hair and head to Nightmare “what...” i growled, “you have a job, i want an au destroyed in ten minutes and if the protector or someone like that shows up kill em got it!?”
“yes...i got it jeez...” i growled and teleport to a random au, lets get to work...


(??? P.o.v.)
 im in the real world... it was hard to get here but i did it and this is perfect i appeared in my targets house, i head to their room 
“hello player....” 
i say darkly, they turn to me immediately “WHO ARE YOU AND HOW DID YOU GET HERE” I chuckled and approached “who i am can be left unknown but how i got here was by breaking through the forth wall, now lets just end this so i can take control for good,” i said and a knife appeared in my hand and I stabbed them, “say good night “ i whisper as i let them fall limp on the ground i go back into the game, “now for positive emotions to die...”

I did it finally, in five minutes even, i teleport back to the castle nightmare wasn’t there he must be out causing fear....i sighs and decided to look through aus, the player where is he? The player would normally be playing with the codes but I couldn’t even sense them...Strange.....


(Dreams p.o.v.)
I was just sitting in the remains of dreamtale when suddenly someone appeared in the distance i stood and approached them....negative aura...”um hello?” I say and they turn to me I couldn’t see their eyes...Strange “im dream!” I say “i know that...your who im looking for” i was confused now...” looking for me? Is my brother and sister causing trouble?” I asked “no no...they are fine...for now...” for now? What? “But I wanna tell you something “ they look at the ground “yes??” I ask they seem like they aren’t a threat so i let my guard down, when suddenly I felt something pierce through me “positive emotions are gonna die...” they said and their eyes showed...bright red eyes with coding in them “w-why....” i asked weakly my soul was breaking “because I want power...oh and before you die I’ll tell you my name...” I look at them


“call me kira...” 


 dust blows away in the wind from where dream was standing
