Movies I don't care about and Why.

I'm sorry to say some of the most popular movies are some of my most hated. But let's say this, I will respect your opinion to like something, as long as you respect mine to not like it. And I try to go vise versa, simple thing we can all do to avoid conflict and stupidity.

  1. Star Wars. Really not my cup of tea. There are a few reasons why I'm not a fan of the franchise. First of all, Those in the fandom are terrible. People think it should be a requirement to watch it. When I watch movies I like to enjoy watching something, and that often includes pretending to have my own stupid dialogue… I can not tell you how many times I tried to joke and I am immediately told to “Shut Up!”... well, first of all, not only do people spend theater money, but they bring it home on DVD too. I understand the whole “Shut up" concept in the theater, but it shouldn't follow me at home, at school, eating my dinner practically… not to mention half of the stuff is unrealistic, unsensitive, and just overrated. Film is not my fav. But There are a few films I like. Couldn't Star Wars be relatable? OR AT LEAST enjoyable?

  2. Harry Potter. Once again another “required to watch" movies… I love the idea of magic in media, one of my favorite book series, Kat Incorrigible, but Harry Potter magic is too outrageous to enjoy. Mary sues and Gary sues, Everywhere! Fights are barely interesting. Again, the fandom is terrible. One of the things I dislike about popular fandoms, Mistakes are never forgiven. Try this, walk into a Harry Potter fan club and your first impression (make it an unpopular opinion, ship, or false statement. If you don't get burned in the first 5 min. Correct me. Also They used so many stupid CGI animals except for the owl… seriously. And now the owl is living in its own urine and feces (based on the Dodo). Animals are living things, NOT PROPS SO YOU CAN MAKE A BUCK! $ that's $ all $ people $ care $ about $ now $.......... Buuuuuuuuuut, since the movies are based on the books, there are more great books out there, Harry Potter is not an exception, and every high school/middle school teacher is right saying everyone has already read the books 100 times so it's useless for book reports.

Ok I hear you screaming about how both of those are films, and you'll claim that film is good. I KNOW. Film is wonderful, it has to go from writing, to acting and the lights have to be just right and the sound, any editing, film is not lazy I know.

3. The Little Mermaid. The animation I can't get through with my eyes open. (There, an animation I don't enjoy on the list) It is a classic… It's The classic I've seen but never watched. ?.?.?. The plot puts me to sleep every time. The music doesn't flow, and it’s always seemed like only 1 thing happens, the villainess steals Ariel’s voice. *shuts book* THE END. The rest of the movie… I told you, I Was Asleep.

So to wrap it up, some of these words were probably hard to read, and I'm… not sorry. XD I have a right to my body, what I tell myself I like or dislike. Same with you. You have the right to not like something. No one has the right to force you to like or hate something you don't... It's YOUR feelings.
