The desert cut through his skin as the air blew against him. The little shack he called home stood right behind him, as he peeled the skin back from a sheep he had just bought from a sheperd. His clothes were old, saggy, and torn. They danced as the wind and sand cut thought him. Most of the town were much like his clothes.

His tattoos told symbols of alliance. Old shacks made of either mud or wood surrounded him. Little children played near him, as their parents watched from their own homes. He could see the elders of the town sitting in their homes, looking out the window into nothing. They've gone mad from the tortures their culture of hatred brought, as tattooed symbols, telling battle stories, almost covered thei bodies.

Their rival town attacked them just last week, and now the town's soldiers are half the size as they used to be. The young butcher continued with his sheep, chopping up the meat so he can sell it later on. His tan skin from the heat soaked up the sun, and his hair was like wool cuaght baking over a fire.

The whole town knows about the boys ambissions, he wants to join the town's clique. As any little boy has, he's always dreamed of traveling the world. He wants to go from town to town, and make his town proud. To spread the message of his clique's hatred, the message of submission and control. He knows he'd have to go through the weeding out process. A series of missions and tests to numb you fron violence, and mold you into a soldier. And Sosa is ready to defend his town.

In the distance you could see the city of elves, the desert makes it seem like its right around the corner, when really its dozens and dozens of miles away. Funny how cruel the desert can be. For all Sosa knows, that might be what heaven looks like, and its probably why they call it the city of gold in his parts. "I wonder how shock they'd be when the heat hits them like a bolt of lightning on their way over here, not that they venture down these parts," muttered Sosa. "It takes going though hell, to get to heaven."
