   Roland woke up in a room, it was foggy and dim, and with a man that has grey hair with black eyes and white pupils, he reached his hand out and Roland grabbed it and shook it.
Part 1: Village of Ashes
   It was a cold night, with stars up and awake, and the lights in the sky danced. But not everything was going smoothly. For Roland, everything went wrong.
"So you kidnapped a human, yeah that's mature of you," Aaron said
"What else am I supposed to do? He had the stone! But now it somehow he absorbed it?"Blake yelled as he tried to explain to Aaron."Don't raise your voice at me! I have higher authority than you."
"So, what does that mean?"
Roland started to wake up.
"Sshhh, He's waking up," Blake whispered
"Wait, where am I?! Roland said as he started to freak out.
"Well, its hard to..."A shake in the earth interrupted Blake"Why does this happen."Aaron thought"Let's go, we don't have much time."Aaron said with fear in his tone. Soon, Blake and Aaron started packing up books, papers, and weird bottles with strange mixtures  in it."Wait, what about me!"Roland exclaimed,"Get in!" Aaron Demanded as he points to a small carriage with a single horse at the end pulling it. Soon, Roland crawled into the carriage and closed the hatch behind,"You ready?"Aaron asked Blake nodded as his left eye changed again. Then, bulky creatures came charging at full speed, with horns curving from the side of their head to the front of their face, a horn sharp as a steel blade of a dagger. Then a mane, tracing behind their head, soft as silk. Finally, a muscular body, with claws deadly as a sword, but short as a short sword. "Get ready," Aaron said. Trying to stay calm."You never know if one is a Shaperifter" Blake said fearfully"Oh how I hate moundrels."Same here bud."As the moudrels were closing in, Aaron made his ice gauntlet and Blake swayed his arms counterclockwise, and electric charges started forming on his hand."Not today Blake." Aaron said with a smirk"Wait what!"Then Aaron thrusted forward stabbing the first creature and sprung forward for another stab. Finally, he stabbed the ground and ice started forming around him. Then ice spikes shot up from the ground and stabbed each moundrel and started freezing them slowly and painfully. Then more came out of the ground biting blakes arm and dislocated it,"You ok?"Aaron said. Blake nodded,Then blakes eye changed as he punched the monster off of his arm while Aaron started freezing the others,finally Blake confronted the last one,it was bigger but more crippled than the others, the scars on the creature seemed big as it had a tough fight in the past, its claws were big except some of them seemed to have chipped off,
So then Aaron stopped staring and thrusted forward and stabbed it in the eye, then got on its back and used his ice gauntlet's claws to dig in its flesh and started freezing it. In the back Roland was watching, Amazed to see that such creatures exist, screams of the creature started growing louder and started echoing."Aaron! You know how much I hate loud screeching noises!" Blake yelled as he covered his ears"Now, no more jokes, let's go."

A few hours had passed, the screams started to rest. And the two elements rode the carriage and steered the horse. The sun started to rise and shine its light on the world. Roland stood in the carriage, dismayed and scared, but feeling no fear when harm comes to him.
"What were those things the and who, who are you two? Please tell me whats going on!"Roland yelled with fear.
"Names Blake."Blake said,"My name is Aaron."Aaron said"And you are, you're in Chrylotine. It's our home. Exactly at.." Blake said but was interrupted by Aaron"Basically this is not your world."Roland stood in silence and fear"Not home." Roland said with dismay"But where am I!"
"Chrylotine. Just told you."Blake said,"First, introduce your self." Aaron said with concern" Introductions can wait, Right?"Blake said"My, my name, its Roland. Roland Foriente" "What are you?"Blake said,"What do you mean?"Roland asked,"What race are you."Aaron said"
"I'm a human. I suppose." Roland said with fear in his voice."What do you mean you suppose?" Aaron questioned
"I don't know who I really am, people look at me like I'm not human like I'm a monster," Roland said as tears rolled down his cheek
"Well, I see your human, Humans are weird." Blake said,"Why do you keep saying human aren't you guys human?" Roland asked,"No, I am an Ice element, a species with powers to make ice do our bidding, really depends on your social status."Aaron said with pride. As Blake was about to speak someone interrupted him, a person, with gray hair, black eyes, and white pupils, and equipped with a black cloak and a dagger. But with a blade white and clear as a summer sky" Blake is an Electric element, an element to control electricity and energy. of course, higher your social status, the more powerful, and he's an elite." The man said looking at Roland with a smile"Oh, and who are you." Cylen asked Roland "Let me introduce myself, I am Cylen, a spirit per say." he said."Oh, I'm."But Roland was interrupted"His name is Roland, Blake thought it would be a great idea to kidnap him from Earth."Aarsaid,"I see, I know, I have seen him in my dreams, and Blake why did you kidnap a human?" Cylen asked."Well, you see.."Then, Cylen interrupted him by stabbing Blake in the leg.
"What, why did you do that, he's hurt!" Roland yelled
"Don't worry, it'll heal,"Blake said showing Roland his healed scar. Suddenly Roland's stomach started growling"You hungry?" asked Cylen"No."Roland responded."Why don't you want to eat?" "I don't feel like eating."Really, your mind says I don't care what happens."Cylen said,"You can read my mind!"Roland exclaimed,"Only if you accept my permission which you did in your sleep."Roland remembered the same man in his dream pulling out his hand to shake it."I remember you."Roland said remembering Cylen"You were in my dream, and you shook my hand.""Correct."As they rode along the field, Roland saw many strange things, like flowers that emitt a strange light and aura. And. A flock a tiny creatures that look like a dragon, with big wings and small hind legs. But no arms. The Creatures were a bright blue and had a barbed tail in the back emitting a bright green color to show its prey that its poisonous"Is, is that a dragon!" Roland pointed out"No,thats a Wyvern"Aaron said annoyed."Whats a Wyvern?" Roland asked but No one said anything as they continued their ride and Roland's stomach  grew louder."We're here." Blake said cheerfullyAs they approached, many crowds separated from each other to get out the way, and stared at Roland and Cylen, The town was seduced in ashes, and the only thing was left was a couple buildings,people and burnt corpses."What is this place?"Roland asked"This is Arrow Jack."Blake said"Or what used to be."Cylen added."What happened then?""Looks like Scorch burned this place to burnt wood chips." Aaron said"And no one is going to freak out that a peacefull village was burnt!"Roland exclaimed.As soon as Roland said that,the cart came to a halt in front of a building called, "The Full Quiver INN". It looked as it was built many years ago,and the weather got to it."Was this place always bland?"Roland asked nervously"No, Looks like Scorch burned this place,I can tell."Aaron said."How can you tell."Blake said"The way the buildings are burnt,there going down not up,suspiciously all of them are in that state."Soon,the conversation ended,and everyone but Cylen got off to the inn"Aren't you coming?"Roland asked"I gotta park the cart."Cylen saidAfter Roland nodded in agreement, Blake and Aaron walked in the Inn,and Roland nervously followed behind.
Part 2,Cloaked Thoughts
The Inn gave off an alwful vibe,and a dangerouse aura. The Inn was also a tavern, many people came here to drink their problems away due to the fact their house has been burnt to the ground.The Inn also had Elk heads,Paintings of forest and Bows and arrows, "Can I get 2 rooms with 2 beds please."Aaron said ae he walked up the Tavern keeper"That will be 20 Sillow."Aaron nodded as he checks his pockets."I seemed to have misplaced it."Aaron said with a growl"I think I have it."Blake said but hus pokects were empty.Then,the door to the Inn opened.A cloaked man who looked to be homeless and in his 90s,walked up to the counter and handed the Tavern keeper a bag of coins."On me."the man said with a crooked smirk. His voice was almost raspy,but also soothing.Roland felt a wierd vibe around him, just looking into his orange piercing eyes gave him chills."Who are you?"Aaron said"Introductions can wait my friend."The man said with his raspy voice, Roland noticed the man gave off a ashy putrid smell"No thanks we got it."Blake said,Trying to sound polite as much as possible."Come on I insist,Doesnt look like you have any coin."The man said"I said we got it so is it ok if you can....""No thank you,we got it."Cylen said as he closed the door,Suddenly,Cylen grabbed a bag of coins and placed it on the desk. Then the Tavern Keeper opened the bag and started counting"All yours." The Tavern Keeper said as he handed Cylen him a key and empty coin sack.The room was small,but big enough for two, the room enough looked old as the man in the cloak, every board on the floor creakes with a noise that echoes through the building, the room was also inhabited with rats,spiders and crickets.Roland walked in the room with no hurry, and no reaction in the rooms condition, he just jumped on the bed,
Later that night, both rooms were quiet. Roland and Cylen remained quiet for awhile until there was a knock on the room door."Go away." Cylen said annoyed"Fine."Blake said"Hey Cylen."Roland asked"Yeah.""What or who are you guys, and why am I here?"Roland asked"First Introductions. One is Aaron, the tall guy with brown hair. Hes an ice element and ice elements can controll ice, but the lower your social status is the weaker you are, the higher the stronger."Cylen said
"You get it?"
"Kinda" Roland said
Suddenly, the door started shaking and the lock started shaking, then it went silent. 
"Who's there! Speak!"Cylen Demanded
Then, the Mysterious person started banging on the door, and started hitting the door,
"Open up"The person said with a familiar raspy voice.

"Aaron go away"Cylen said frustrated
"But Blake wont stop being annoying"Aaron 
"Deal with it"Cylen said as Aaron groaned like he was frustrated, and soon walked away
"Anyway,the other guy with blonde hair is Blake,he is an electric element, the same setup also gies with the electric elements"Cylen said
"I have a question"Roland said

"Ask away"
"How was Blake's arm and leg fine after being bit and stabbed,it looked bad and painfull, but it healed in a second! How is that possible? Do elememts have some kind of healing power?Roland said
"I don't think your ready for your answer,so I'll just introduce my self again."Cylen said
Roland nodded sadly

"I am Cylen,A morrow spirit, we are sent by our master to help and tend to the poor,the weak and the ill, we kinda grant wishes,They ask us something and we grant it, but we take form as an orb, its like armour for our soul,so no one can soul trap us,but i was diffrent,I gone rogue and took this form so no one can tell who I was, I am also the leader of this group, known as the Chrystalight Blades,we fufill missions and bounties."Cylen said almost out of breath,"
"Wow,But why trust me with this information?,Roland asked
"Roland,I know something you dont,But you arent ready yet."So hang in there and I'll or "He" will tell you everything."Cylen said
"And why are you guys going for these stones?"Roland asked

"I will tell you in the morning,We will also get some grub tomorrow,so good night."Cylen said as he started laying down in his bed

Part 3,Ablaze

Rolands night was going okay,rats were crawling,crickets were chirping,and the spiders were no were to be seen,then Roland closed his eyes for three seconds then opened his eyes again to look at the ceiling to remember it just incase all of it was a dream.
"Good night world"Roland whispered

Then closed his eyes,then when he opened them again,he felt more tired like he was sleeping,exept its dark and he cant see.
"Where am I"Roland said as he started to panic.
"Dont worry kid we wont hurt you unless you give us what we want."A familiar raspy voice said as he pulled the sack over Rolands head off.
Then Roland's vision cleared and standing infront of him was the same cloaked man from the tavern.
"You,of course."Roland said angrily
"What do you want from me!"Roland yelled
"The stone!."The man yelled with a sign of frustration in his voice.
"You have the stone,give it up or I'll show you what no remorse means!"The old man yelled
"I dont have it,I swear!"Roland said,hoping he would believe him
"Liar!"The man yelled.
Suddenly,an ice spike the size of a water bottle shot through and hit the man in his chest.
"Your being to loud."Aaron said

"You'll wake everone up"
"But how if their homes are burnt"The man said while holding the spike in his hand,and with no sign of injury
"You caught the spike,nice job old man,or should I say Scorch!"Aaron yelled
"How did you know?"Scorch said
"Your eyes,no one's eye's glow like that,its even a fiery glow too."Aaron said
"Wow,good job,you probably know what we are here for"Scorch said as he started catchingting fire until his cloak was just a mere pile of ashes.
"Wait,he looked old earlier,he can change his shape!"Roland exclaimed
"Not now kid run!"Aaron said as he sees Scorch getting ready to attack,
Roland turned around and ran
"Not today kid!"Joseph said as he ran out of the darkness while pursuing Roland
"Kid!"Aaron said as he got punched by Scorch's fiery fist
"How about a..."But Scorch was interrupted by Aaron kicking him in the gut
"Shut up " Aaron said angrily
Then Aaron continued with more jabs left and right, and finall,y, he formed his gauntlet and used his claws grab Scorch's throat , and rip it right off
"Your wrong to kill me..."He said with his final breath , then his body started to turn into a pile of ashes
"Come out Scorch , no need to be afraid"Aaron said as he looked back where Roland left"Good luck kid"He whispered


Joseph ran through the forest blindly and just guessed where Roland went,Then he grabbed a pair of glasses from his pockets saying "Thermal Specs"
"Got you now kid."Joseph said as he looked around for him,until he spotted a red glob in a shape of a person behind a tree in the distance. "Got you now"Joseph whispered as he grabbed a sniper rifle with the word "Legend" imprinted on it.
Joseph looked through the scope,and aimed for the head and pulled the trigger without hesitation. The bullet went through the tree and hit the person, a tear rolled down Joseph's cheek,"Im sorry,but I have a job to do,and I have to learn how to deal with it."Joseph sadly said as he took off his specs and walked towards the body
When he got there,the body was gone and anger was filled in Joseph's heart
"Are you kidding me,I killed a child just to discover that somone took his body!"Joseph yelled as he broke into tears and fell on the floor
"You sure your ok?"Roland asked Blake
"Yeah,ill tell you later" Blake said as he threw the. Bullet that Joseph shot him with,
Then Blake dropped from the tree and landed on Joseph then pinned him to the ground
"What is going on?"Joseph yelled
"Your getting pinned,thats whats happening."Blake said
"So you call this a pin,pathetic."Joseph said as he grabbed blake and threw him off and punched him,and punched,and finally he grabbed his Shiv from his ankle sheath,and without hesitation,he slit Blakes throat.
"Now where were we."Joseph said as he got up and looked at Roland with his blood coated shiv.
Part 4,Dead Children
Aaron watched every where,hearing Scorch run through the forest,circling around Aaron,then it stopped
"What are you doing up late at night kidnapping children?"Aaron asked,hoping Scorch heard him
"What do you mean late at night? Check your watch,its not late at night."Scorch said with his voice,with an unknown location of where his voice came from.
Then Aaron gave his last check as he put his hands in his pocket reaching for his pocketwatch.
"Let me bait him by making him think I am gonna check my watch."Aaron thought as he looked at his watch reading 3:12am,prepared for anything that happens,Instead,Scorch came from behind and  kicked Aaron to the ground.
"How gullible,are you?"Scorch said while laughing,then he turned Aaron over ready to monologue,But then Aaron got up and got on top of him,while punching him repeatably.
"Got no time for this!"Scorch said
"Whoops!"Scorch said as he stabbed Aaron in his chest,with a shiv that came out of no where.
"Thats a shame,you have to die here out at the forrest."Scorch said
"Do you hear that? The screams of people in despair?"Scorch said 
Now that Scorch said that,Aaron heard the screams coming from Arrow Jack,the village where they stayed at the INN.
"I wonder whats disturbing their peace,oh wait I know. Its some moundrels I lured over their.Why dont you go save them."Scorch said as he walked away.
Aaron got up and watched Scorch walk away,then he closed his wound,by freezing part of his chest where his wound is,stopping the bleeding but not the pain.
"I have to  go to Arrow Jack,before its too late!"Aaron thought as limped away in the direction of the village.
Roland ran blindly through the forrest,only following fate,and letting it take te wheel,and with Joseph pursuing behind with his specs on.
"There is no where to run kid."Joseph yelled as he pulled out his flintlock pistol,Roland heard the clicking of the pistol being loaded,then Roland tripped and scream as he was tumbling down a hill,suddenly Joseph stopped as he seen Roland tumble down a hill.
At the bottom was Arrow Jack,being attacked by wild and enraged moundrels coming from every direction,North,East,South,West side of the village,even from under ground,Then Joseph noticed some moundrels were coming from his direction,Joseph got his flintlock and shot one in the head,stopping it in it's track,but he tried to reload fast but the other moundrels pounced ontop of him and tried to maul him but he got his Shiv and started stabbing any moundrel that tried to bite him,finally he barely escaped,but in a critical state.
Joseph then pulled out a transmitter
"Scorch,where ever you are im heading back,your plan flunked the mission,I almost died,I'll tell you when we get back!"Joseph said
"Sorry can't talk,one of them is still alive and trying to get to Arrow Jack."Scorch responded
"Ill just get the stone then."Joseph muttered to himelf as started limping towards Roland who is crawling towards the village,Then Joseph picked up Roland and saw his beat up face,with tears of pain rolling down his cheek,Joseph lifted his fist,but his remorse inside was too strong,he lost to a child,then he put Roland down gently and broke into tears and collapsed on to the ground
"I cant kill a child,hes innocent,he doesn't know that he absorbed the stone,it wasnt his fault,hes harmless,I cant do it."Joseph yelled as he passed out into a deep sleep
"He cried himself to sleep?Wait I absorbed a stone!"Roland freaked out
"Not even Joseph cant kill a child,or see one die. I already see dead children at the village,its not like he could've save them,well time to...."Scorch said as he was intruppted by Aaron chokeholding him,"Go kid run!"Aaron yelled as he throws scorch to the ground and knocks him out cold,then proceeded to make binds out of ice and tie Scorch,
Suddenly Joseph got up behind Aaron and kicked him behind his back.
"You can't stop us! Will return,and when we return you'll regret stealing from us!"Joseph said as he grabbed Scorch and walked into the bushes,disappearing in the process.
"Could this night get any worst." Aaron said with a sigh
Suddenly,a small aircraft with Joseph and Scorch in it flew over Aaron.
"We'll see you later!"Joseph said as the aircraft sped across the village and into the darkness of the early morning sky.
Then the howling of the Moundrels caught Aaron's attention and Aaron stood up weakly and made his gauntlet and prepared to fight,while staring at the village being underattack.

"Here we go,good luck kid,hope your safe."Aaron said as he thrusted forward for his first target.
