Series: Poems Of The Soul Read Count : 121

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A

Hey guys, this is a new series I am going to start. "Moonlight's Gaze" will be on a pause because of another book I am making and want to start. On the mean time, I'll post poems I had saved up in my USB. This in between series will be called "Poems if the Soul" and they will all be originals I personally wrote. Now that that's out of the way, here is the first poem of this series:

On this Mountain From the tip of this mountain where I stand I can see it all, the sunset that glows as bright as a single flame of fire on a vibrant July night. The water as clear as a diamond taken from the purest hill top you could imagine, the houses near by, so small and dark. Dark like the hair on the girls head walking by. Thinking back to old times I realize something; the innocence I once held dear is gone. The moon is now rising, as to tell me to leave. But I don't... Another sign I've ignored. As I think. Of all the regrets I have, I feel my face wet...tears. Tears are coming down like a waterfall. Does that mean I'm still human? I don't deserves to cry. Someone like me shouldn't feel sadness. But it's alright. From the hill where I now stand, I can see the clear view. The view that will lead me towards my new future. Melanie Cabrera H.

I hope you enjoyed this poem because it is the first one in my list if poems I will post before continuing my other series. If you liekd it then don't forget to like, rate, and comment if you have time. Also, follow me... If you want.
