You knew I needed saving
You knew I’d fall for you 
You knew I’d love you way before I knew 
You knew I was hurt 
you knew I was broken
You knew I needed fixing 
You knew you couldn’t help 
You knew the only person who could fix me was me yet you still put your hand out as if you were some kind of god who could change the way I felt on the inside 
You knew you were no good for me 
You knew you’d suck the small bit of happiness I had before you right out of me 
You knew your love was unrequited 
you knew this would happen 
Yet you chose to stay and “fix“ me
