Chapter one : Fate
I thought I was an ordinary college student, well after what happen to me I would never have a normal childhood but that's not the point here, the point is who would have thought a mystical romance would ever sneak into my life. Before I tell you my story let me give you some background info on me not to much just a little bit, I'm eighteen years old, my birthday is September fourteenth and I moved to Japan from Canada for some reasons that I'm not gonna get into just yet I moved here at the age of six from Windsor Ontario and moved in with my aunt and uncle who have been here in Japan for a bit my dad and uncle are from here actually. Most importantly my name is Monica Lee . Now without further ado let's get on with the story.
Today I have to go to a track meet but before I leave my aunt who I love dearly has this really bad habit of getting me late for things, just as I was about to make my escape my aunt stops me and bombarded me with questions " do you have your water, sweat towel, extra hair elastics, extra shorts and shirts?" I heave a big sigh "yes I have everything now can I please get going" I say almost begging "yes yes, oh and one more thing extra pads." she mocks me with a smirk. Yes it was that time of the month that long agonizing time of the month I was on my period and of course it just started today so I have to last seven more days of this. I nod and head off so she can't say any more as I was walking to the meet I remember I still had my mom's necklace on, it was precious to me and I didn't want it broken as I was taking it off something caught my eye. I head over to it because curiosity finally took the best of me, it was a shrine it was beautiful I couldn't take my eyes of it. " I - I don't have time fore this I have to have go!" I grab my bag and was about to run off when the earth below me shook I fell and hit my head off a rock, or at least I think I did because I passed out. When I awoke I saw a gentle face staring back at me he looked worried but I had bigger problems, he had a sword around his waist I was about to move but he held me in place " I have two questions for you whats with your clothes and uh what happened." he said with an accent I look down to where he was looking my period blood had leaked through all over my Gray shorts. I blush instantly and turn away from him, a boy out of all the people in Japan a boy with a sword found me..... Man fate really hates me doesn't it.
