You may not have seen me in months, you may be thinking I’m not doing much but trust me I have been doing a ton. 

I miss the text messages and phone calls and I can’t get mad at all because I too need to put in effort if I want to talk. 

You see, I wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for my close friends and family because they are the ones that showed me how to live life, appreciate life and live in the now. 

Those that stuck by my side through the dark times where I smiled a bright smile that would coincide with so many toxic emotions lurking within, I thank you. 

Your support, love and care is what truly got me each and every win. 
Even though I fell victim to the reapers whispers that were so vile and full of sin. 

Yet, I still kept that smile; I still kept that mischievous grin. 

With every win there are many losses.
You think you can live this life without having any sort of fee? 

Through pain, heartbreak and disappointments that life throws at us can be really hard to process. 

Don’t you see, help is needed to get where you want to be. 

There will be so many different angles you will view life from; There will be so many places you will see creating milestones as proof of how far you really have come. 

With every step forward in life there was a helping hand; With every obstacle I encountered in this life there was someone there to help me stand. 

I give thanks to you that I call family; 
I give thanks to you that I call my friend. 

I may not be someone you always see but I trust the ones in my circle because we will always have each others back until the very end.
