As I fall in too deep
The AC's chill casts me to sleep
And I'm taken to a world of peace
Where animals could talk and speak
The birds, they'd sing you pretty things,
Flying with their outstretched wings
But that's (thanks to this fact)
Just a distortion.
A daydream, only yearning left in place
Becase those times will never be back, I will always be awake.
Just thinking of those times, when I felt no pressure to laugh or cry, but I no longer have that conation;
because I'm no longer nine.
