Everyone writes about their demons. We all have demons, but some or just worse than others. Some can be as bad as your darkest thought, others can be 10 times that. 
The worse they are the more they pound in your head. Wanting to be free. So if you think of it, their captives. Just like us. You just need a better will than them. You don't have to be stronger, or smarter. Just more willing to live with them.
I have a few. And they're pretty bad. But they don't just sit there. They make me paranoid. Scared, panicky. That's what they want, for it to be too hard. For you to let them free. The only way is death.
You can't get rid of them until you die. You just have to live with them. That's what demons are, annoyances. We have to be the bigger person. It will be hard, no doubt about that. But once you reach rock bottom, the only way left to go is up.
