Pink is just a colour, not unlike we are all just stereotypes. 
Pink is seen as the girly colour. The one you would imagine a little girl's bedroom to be painted with.
Some girls hate the colour pink because of this, because it stands for something more than just a colour. They hate pink because pink makes you weak. Because pink means you hate sports and mud and you would rather paint your nails at a slumber party.
Some girls like pink because of this. Because it gives five simple words to invite the other person to assume their entire personality. Those five words; "my favorite colour is pink", can change your perspective of everything.
Some boys like pink, but keep it hidden because they are afraid of what people might say. They may be called "gay" or a girl.
Pink means innocence. 
Pink means warmth.
But pink is not a part of the rainbow. 
Pink is not just a colour, not unlike we are not just stereotypes.
