The Truth Behind Fear Read Count : 45

The truth behind fear is that the thing that we're afraid of is in our brains. It isn't something that's part of us because we can make all of our deepest, darkest fears go away. I was once afraid of the dark and sometimes I still get a lump in my throat when someone switches the light off. The way I sort of cleared my fear was by telling myself repeatedly that my fear was ALL in my brain. Give it a go and tell me how it went in the comments.

Rational fear is good and irrational fear is bad. I would always try to explain what I think when I’m afraid, so I’d know what action I would take. Rather than freezing, doing something makes me less nervous
