I always feel a tad bit better when I go out. Getting fresh air even on ''my worst days'' helps me feel a sense of freedom & silence all my doubts.

My comfort zone is being indoors, but going out makes me appreciate my solitude even more.

Sometimes I just go out to feel the breeze of the wind & the warmth of the golden sun on my skin.

Now the world outside my window doesn't seem so bleak. I feel a sense of bliss as I wander through the town, walking down the quiet city streets.

I don't question how long this feeling will last. I just enjoy the moment & smile at all the friendly people I pass.

Could they be roaming the streets for the very same reasons as me? Could they be in need of a break from this world & in search of peace?

Maybe so. We all have those days where we feel as if every door to every opportunity in life has closed.

We all have ways to relieve our stress. For me, without nature, music & writing, I'd surely be a mess.

I'm home now. I grab a nice glass of iced tea & go to the living room couch to sit down.

That walk cleared my head. I found peace & joy in hearing the sounds of bird's chirping, trees blowing in the wind & children laugh.

I wouldn't mind taking another walk tomorrow & maybe next time I'll bring a friend. I head upstairs to take a nap, but as I do I stop to look out my window & say to the outside world, ''until we meet again.''
