i met a guy named colby online. he told me about his life in texas while i live all the way in maine. we’ve been talking for months and i really have feelings for this man. he’s a mechanic and he’s beautiful. i would do anything to see him. colby had surprised me with two tickets to texas for me and my friend carly to come visit. i was so excited to finally see him! when we got to texas i almost cried. i fell in love with colby even more. us three went to the mall because it was just around the corner. we walked around and i noticed that colby had  seemed more interested in carly than me. i felt like a knife was cutting me open. i went into the bathroom and cried. i wasted all this time on this man and he’s gone off with my bestfriend. i walked out of the bathroom and i see them making out. i walked out of the mall and i haven’t seen them since. i give up on love.
