I went to my friend's camp last week and today is my last day here. So far I'm having a great time.

I went fishing on Saturday with Tristan, his brother and dad at Finley Lake. I caught a 20 inch walleye and so far the biggest fish I caught yet.

Tristan wanted to fillet  Mr. Wally the Walleye but I spared his life and gave him back to the waters where he belonged.

I don't like to hurt animals unless it's a spider or a snake then I'm all for it.

We went white water rafting at some place about an hour away from camp yesterday. It was way up in the mountains and I'm pretty sure it may have been the Allegheny River.

There were 7 of us and the greatest experience ever. At first I was nervous, but once we got aboard the raft and began floating down the river I was more than fine. The water splashed up from the raft ever time we hit a big rapid and it felt refreshing in the hot sun.

If you like outdoor recreation and fearless of water,  I recommend giving it a try.

During the rafting trip, we stopped along the side of the river and someone my friends knew brought us all a picnic lunch. While we were eating it we seen a bear across the river walking along the edge. Very cool actually but glad he was on that side of the water and not mine lol.

Then yesterday evening Tristan and myself, his brother Landon and sister Layton went for a walk in the woods behind the camp. We started out exploring and looking at the scenic nature and what happens next? We got lost lol. We started walking back the way we thought we came in but we were far off point. An hour later we came out about a 1/4 mile away from where we entered. It was fun and we were all careful. It's smart to always be observant when you enter a wooded area. There is no such thing is being overly careful.

Today is Monday blah, blah, blah and my last day here in the Empire State. We are going to this petting zoo today. My friend told me we can feed the animal's in the corral. I love seeing the animals and I'm looking forward to it. When I'm at home we go to the Pittsburgh zoo at least 2 times a year.

After the animal park we are going to have a cookout by the campfire and start getting our things packed to go home tomorrow morning. I had a great weekend and I'm thankful that my friend's invited me to come up here. They are great people.

Tristan likes going to my pap's camp to because its something different for him, just like coming here is different for me. Tomorrow will be here before I know it. When you want something to come, the time takes forever. When you don't want it to come, it's right there standing in front of you waving lol.
