Here comes the X-rays, then the topical anaesthetic on a q-tip. Needle in my gums and they couldn't get me numb enough, four more times with the needle in my gums.  Sharp sensation, bitter taste, then totally numb. Read the waiver,  head is spinning, nausea kicks in and I sign the waiver. Here comes the pliers, rocking my tooth back and forth - thirty seconds later and my tooth pops out. Biting on gauze, the taste of blood, salt water rinse and the extraction is done. Let the fun begin.
