Mommy is screaming again. Daddy hits a wall. They both yell at each other, making my heart hurt. They do this a lot, but it doesn't get easier. Threats are the only thing it can make out. I shut my eyes tight. I sing to myself the lalabye Sarah used to sing to me. But Sarah left, now the only freind that makes me feel safe is my corner. It was once just a corner, but now, it's my safe place. I plug my ears, but I hear a sound, bang. Mommy is no longer yelling, screaming, silence. Then, another bang. A tear falls down my cheek as I sit, in the corner where I hide.
