I was robbed of knowing and loving you. I was separated and conditioned not to care. The occasional card came for a birthday but nothing more. You lived states away but seemed like planets apart. As an adult I chose to move on and not reach out. Why start over rather than move on? I learned from their mistake and will not repeat it with my own. I was robbed of knowing and loving you and am jealous of those who did. I feel regret amongst other unidentified emotions. This will be a useful experience to share with others who are robbed of knowing and loving someone as soon as I know who I should have known and loved.
