A smile slowly spreads across his scarred face, he seemed to have no lips. I watched in horror as his skin seemed to creak as if he has never smiled, or made any facial expressions at all. I could feel the fear spread through my body,  paralyzing me. The man was wearing a hoodie that covered the top part of his face, so all that showed was his almost forced smile. I started to back up slowly, never taking my eyes off him. As I moved away from him he tilted his head to the side as itch he was listening to me.

"Where are you going?" He asked, his voice was dry as if he never talks.  "We need you, or maybe it's you who needs us." As he says this he looks up, slowly lowering his hood. His skin was paper white, sharp features, and brown hair so dark it looked black that was covering his eyes. He started to walk towards me slowly, as he did he moved his hair slightly, revealing flat smooth skin where his eyes should be. "You can't run from us, we can hear you wherever you go." His smile grew impossibly big as a laugh seemed to rip out of him.

I sat up with a start, "Miss, are you with us,  or would you like to go back to sleep." The professor rhetorically asked. I looked around confused as I realized at I had fallen asleep in my class, even though i don't remember even coming to class.
