I try to hold on to my endeavor, but it feels I been falling forever.
I try to hold the world in a different light, but it never gets any bright.
I try to hold on to life, but it only gives me strife.
I try to hold on to love, but I’ve never been enough.
I try to hold on to my loved ones, but I always end up as the lonely one.
As days go by, I wonder why I’m in this life, when it would be easier to escape with a knife.
This life has no rest for me, to let me sleep nor to let me be.
In this dark world that only brings me pain, I try to find my way through the rain.
I been tried and beaten down, but I hold on that some day I'll be safe and sound.
I hold on to that day when everything will be okay.
