I was out of high school now, and I still lived at home. I didn't have a job, but I would help my mother every now and then in her classroom at Silver Heights public school in Cambridge. She taught kindergarten. I would help with some activities with the kids., such as painting, etc. As well as reading to the kids and helping out on some field trips, like the nursery, where there are flowers, also walking to the park. One of the dads in the school talked to my mother about me helping him at his work. I guess it was for something to do and as well as giving me some experience. So, my mother talked to me about it, and I agreed. It was only for a short time though. I'm not sure what the place that he worked out was called, but it was in a little town called Crief.  There was a church there and some cabins. We would go into certain cabins and fix\repair stuff in there. Well, he would do the fixings repairing, and I would help out at times by handing him the tools that he asked me to get for him. It was fun. One time he asked me if I can help him out with something else., which was folding pamphlets  for the minister \priest. This job lasted for a few weeks.

My mother and I would take Freddy to the dog park in kitchener. It was a nice little dog park located beside a humane society. We met this one man who had a rotweiler named Emma. Emma was nice and friendly to Freddy, our Jack Russell Terrier. We would go to the dog park almost every weekend. Some how, I don't remember how, I think it was through this  guy but I got a job. This job was in a place called, "Frontier distribution ". This job was in New Dundee, which is a small little town, located outside Kitchener. I didn't drive at the time, so my mother would drive me there in the morning. We would stop at Tim Hortons before and then she would drop me off. My boss would drive me after and drop me off at the bus stop and I would take the bus home or somewhere and my  mother  would pick me up somewhere. At this job, myself and others would package foods, like cookies, etc. We would also break down the boxes. The people I worked with were nice. It was full time, all day, Monday to Friday. I was there for almost a year, until things were slowing down and some of us got laid off. I got another job, not long after. I gave my resume to a place called, Dash Wood Windows and doors, where I would work downstairs in the Pbs area. They made some parts for rockwall. The boss there looked at my resume and wanted me to come in for an interview. However, he wanted my mother to come in as well. I know, it's kinds a strange that my mother would come into an interview for me at a job, but it's only because after he looked at my last name and he recognized it. Apparently, my mother  taught one of his kids, in which  they're not kids anymore but young adults. After all those years, he still remembered her. Anyways, so my mother came with me to my interview for the job. He and my mother talked, as well as he and I talked. I got the job and he introduced me to the people down there. There wasn't that many people, maybe 5 or 6.  They told and showed me what I would be doing. It was great, very nice people. Although, I would like to mention something, that day when I went to the interview, I was also not feeling very well. I think I had the cold or something. However, I still got the job. We put together some supplies for Rockwall, and Bombardie. I worked, ate lunch, went for a smoke break, but only on breaks and lunch. yes, I know, I started smoking again when I was 19 years old. Anyways, the job lasted about 3 or 4 months, then things were slowing down and I was laid off. However, a few months later, I was with some of my friends at the mall, which is named, "Cambridge Center",  and I saw my boss there. I said hello to him and he said hello back.  Then,  he said to me that he was thinking about calling me, because he has another job for me if I'm  interested. I said yes and so I had another job and at the same place. This time, I was doing a lot of sanding parts for Bombardie. I was using an electric sander. The parts came in big bins. When I was done one bin, which took me a little while to do, maybe, 2-4 hours, then there would be another bin and another bin.  So, I thought that I had a job there for a long time, but I was wrong.

It was only  2 or 3 months then things were slowing down again., but only this time he had one more job for me. It was to help his brother in law build a warehouse. No, not with bricks, but in a big empty room. We would put up big shelving units in the room. It was a lot of work. He would drill a hole in the floor, and we together would put up the big shelving units in the room. It was a lot of work but it only took us 3 or 4 weeks maybe less to get it done.  After that job was done then so was I.  I mean for work. At least for a while.  My mother and I saw a psychic. Well actually she was a numeralologist, where you would tell her your name and birthday numbers and she can see from there or something.  Anyways, she said that a job would be looking for me and it did. At the same place I was at before, only the job lasted few months. She also said that I'm good with kids. I didn't even tell her that I helped my mother in her classroom before. She suggested that maybe I could write a kids book or something. I know that some people don't believe in psychics and such, but I have an open mind about things and so far this  numerologist lady was right about me. When I was 26 years old, during my second time of working at that place, before getting laid off again, something happened to me that changed part of my life, but for the good.
