Now I lay me down to rest, tell my fam I failed the test, tell em' I'm sorry for this mess, but you know I did my best, while I'm at it I must confess, too many times I settled for less, too many times I second guessed, never held back one single chance, to get shit off my chest, never grabbed your hand when it was time to dance, to many selfish times spent for dinner and romance, never found the time to whine and dine, never slowed down when I saw the sign, never took time to spend some time, never made sure you knew you were mine, out of sight and out of mind, out of dope and out of lines, out of choices and out of rhymes, out of ties and out of binds, out of ropes and out of climbs, out of stars and out of shines, I’m truly  sorry but its time
