My Heart. Read Count : 97

My heart once had a door. Just a door.

No locks, no safety.

You could get blood on my floor,

And I wouldn't care.

But then you came along.

At first, I loved you,

And my heart sang a pretty song.

Then you stabbed me in the back.

Since then, there have been locks.

More safety than Ft. Worth.

Every single friend knocks.

But I open it to no one.

So every time you ask what happened,

The answer is you.

I too willingly let you be Captin.

But now I have my heart back,

I'm in charge, not you,

But one thing my heart lacks,

Is love, because you took all of mine.

You betrayed me, how do you feel now?

  • I feel for you, sister. Heartbreak is tough, but not everyone is like that guy. It’s your heart, not his, you can open up to the people who care next.
