I once carved a love so deep 
That the ocean felt jealousy
Yet here we meet again 
And those old memories of you along the sea
Will bring me a smile 
If only I could have you back
For just a little while
I would fix the mistakes
Of a love sick child

We would sit just like we used to
But the fact you're no longer here 
Watching the waves brings forth pain
You're forever in my heart until we meet again 
On beach watching the sea
I'll be waiting for you

This ocean shine brightly like the moon
It's beauty reminds me of you
I'm still still waiting
Amungst the dunes

Now that you're gone
My empty heart is lonely
The ocean cries slowly

I'm waiting.
Though time ebbs on, an unending tide
My heart is still aching
For you, my dear
By the seaside
