Shards of glass all around,
shatter me endlessly like a lost mosaic in time.
I may not be the Mona Lisa,
but we are all the children of a beautiful mind.

Every fragile piece of our existence,
is held captive for a moment in time.
We can not be bought, nor stolen,
but only awakened by loving ourselves in kind.

All of our humanity surrounds us,
the colors they dance with such hue.
There is beauty in even the darkest souls,
if you choose the perfect view.

Even when we are tattered and broken,
there will be someone who lets the light in...
Someone cares enough to see you shine the way I do, because we are beautiful.

Every rainbow-colored flaw that makes you special.
We mustn't always rely on what is superficial.
It is your duty to shine brighter than you always do.
Choose to seek love from those who uplift you.

Breathe with the force of gale winds in a steady state,
let the calm flow through your mind, just meditate.
Someone once told me that the beauty in this world will someday fade like the sun in a cloud filled sky.
I replied, "Even on the days you can't fight anymore, you must choose to see the light."

There will be dark days and raindrops you can't escape from.
There maybe earthquake, hurricanes, and tornadoes, surely they will come.
You may be tattered, beaten, broken, or alone, but you still have value.
We are all beautifully shaped pieces of this world, including you.

When it all falls to darkness,
when your colors begin to fade.
I'll let the light in. I will always be there.

Simply wonderfull. Your piece of work really tells whoever is reading it to be positive about life. Even though I don't need this sort of message right now in my life, I am sure other people do.
