   After I close the door and walk out onto the lawn, I spot Mother's car. When Father was with us he let me sit in the driver's seat and ride around the ranch. " 'Livia, you'd get the license after a mile on your driver's test."
     Feeling the wheel now doesn't make any sense to why Mother didn't let me on it. I didn't even tell her I could drive otherwise she'd ask me "Did your Father teach you that?!" or say "You're thirteen! I'm not letting you lay a hand on this wheel until you're able to."
     But still Father did not let mr ride alone or at night. The tears rain on me as I now realize how anxious I am. Not because I was scared of riding in a car at night or riding in a car alone. I did ride alone behind Father's back. It was because I was leaving my Mother without her knowing of my whereabouts. I can't be sure if she isn't going to notice me in my room. She wakes up in the middle of the night, too...
    I lose my head to the wheel. The only reason why I came out of bed, went into the pantry, into the storage closet, and outside into this car is because I wanted to help that woman and her two children. I pick up my head from the wheel and look up at the windshield. From there I can see Mother's window. 
      Slowly backing away from the lot and turning my left I see less of 
 Mother's window. Now in my view is the road and the streetlights ahead of me. The night looks beautiful when you see lights pass by quickly. I quicky turn the heater on... It's still really cold. I need to get there faster or else they'd die.
       I believe I saw them when we were leaving the restaurant. They were by the ally close to the dumpster. I slowly pull up in front of the restaurant. When I checked by the dumpster something I saw devastated me....
