   The years 2012, 2013, and 2014 there were murders in Elmwood City.
Only a few teenagers know who was the suspect. That secret that they keep is a promise not to tell.

Chloe: Nicole, you're an oldie! I mean like it's 2015 and you're telling me about a 1987 tv show?

Nicole: First of all, Fresh Prince of Belair wasn't made in 1987....Right? 

Clarisa: You don't even know the date of that old show. How ridiculous! 

Nicole: It's a good, comedic show. I'm pretty sure the date doesn't matter. 

Clarisa: Goli! You sound as if you might watch 1987's Jason Voorhees or whatever the old version of the movie is called.

Chloe: See? Not exactly worth it, Nicole.

Nicole: Whatever!

The school bell started to ring for next period. Clarisa, Nicole, and Chloe went into separate classrooms. I watched Chloe come into the room with her dirty smiles.

Chloe: Hi, Tessa. What are you doing for Halloween? 

Tessa: I'm having a party at my house. My dad will be gone for two months.

Chloe: Sweet! Will the boys be there?

Tessa: Of course, they will.

Chloe: Oh and make sure you beware of any targets who are enemies.

Tessa: I will. I'll do it like the other three girls who trespassed on the wrong path.

Only I knew what Tessa and Chloe did to my besties, Lamees, Lodhi, and Cori. At least I still have Melanie, Blaze, Michelle, Angelle, and Diamond. Nobody knows who did it, but I probably do. I don't know why Chloe would kill them, but I know there was a reason and I'm going to find out. 

Melanie: Hey, Analisa. 

Me: Hi, Melanie.

Melanie: What's the matter? You seem desperate. Oh, you're still thinking about them. Who do you think is responsible? 

Me: I don't know, but it might have to do with Tessa, Chloe, Nicole, and Clarisa. 

Melanie: I feel bad that Diamond and Angelle moved, but I don't think it had to do with those girls. 

Blaze: Hey guys!

Michelle: What's up, Blaze, Melanie, and Analisa. I'm going to with saying who killed our besties.

Blaze: Well, what if it was Chloe?

Melanie: Please don't tell me you're agreeing with Ana. I  mean...

Michelle: Oh, come on, Melanie. You and your grandma can tell who did it, right? You read people's minds, why not read there's?

Melanie: Michelle, it's called physic. 

Blaze: You're also a good spy.

Me: Melanie, your talents can help us. 

Blaze: You need to use them.

Michelle: Please?

Melanie: Okay, fine, but I don't think popular girls would harm our friends.  I'm in. We'll go to my house after school, okay?"
