So pure, so calm, so shy
Is this what you are, O moon?
I look up at you tonight
But you hide amongst the clouds.
O' kind moon!
Hear my faint cry
And show yourself.
Why do you hide My Dear Moon?
Is it because I'm a stranger?
Or have I ever hurt you?
Or maybe I am a beast to you.
O' Dear Moon!
Fill my humble wish
And show yourself.
Fairy tales love you
Science mentions you
Astronomers and Poets study you
The aged people remember you
Children gaze at you in awe
Lovers and heart-brokens cherish you
But even so
I'd love to know you.
And oh!
O' calm moon!
Understand me
Just tonight will be alright
To show yourself to me.......
