Leah Wilson, September 09, 2011 (6:58)

Instead of walking in normally, I burst through the door, still holding my luggage. "Oh, Leah." I hear dad mumble. Everyone else walks in with their luggage. I look around the house. "Woah.." I said, in amazement. The house was more like a big, fancy mansion; The walls color were a white Royal wallpaper, the floor was red carpet, and each staircase was lined with red carpet. The furniture looked like it was made out of diamond or gold. There was a chandelier hanging from the ceiling that looked like it was made out of diamond or gold, too. The air smelled of the "new-house" smell (What my dad calls it).The house looked like it had three floors.

"This looks like a rich people's house!" Emma cried out, her voice echoing through the house. "That's what I was about to say!" I cried out, too. "A rich people's house, indeed." We heard a man say. A man with a fancy, black suit came walking down the staircase. He had a solemn look on his face. "Ah, I see, new visitors we have here?" He said in a solemn way.

There's someone already here? I thought. I thought WE were the visitors. "Well, welcome-" He looked at us like he wanted us to finish the sentence. "Wilsons." Mom said. "Ah, welcome, Wilsons." He glanced at our luggage. "Are you on vacation, or are you moving?" He said, raising his eyebrow. "We're on vacation." Mom said.

"Very well. Shall I show you around the home?" The man asked. "Yes." Emma said this time. "Come along, Wilsons." We followed after him. "I'll carry your luggage." We handed him our luggage.

He led us to the second floor. "This is the kitchen." The furniture in the kitchen also looked like they were made out of diamond or gold. In fact, all the furniture were made out of diamond or gold. The kitchen looked like it just got cleaned, as if that guy cleaned all the rooms just for us. The kitchen smelled of Split Pea Soup and Poutine. "More fancy the ours.." Emma mumbled to me. "Yeah.." I mumbled back. The man then showed us the third floor. "This is where the bedrooms, and bathrooms are located." Instead of the man showing me this time, while no one was looking, I was able to walk into one of the bedrooms without anyone seeing me. The bedroom I walked into had the same wallpaper from the first floor (Royal white). The bed had a red velvet blanket, and a pillow to fit with it. The room also had a computer desk, and a big, white fancy dresser. I saw a book on the bed called, "Snowville's History". I was interested in learning about SnowVille (especially the history of it). I picked it up and flipped through the pages. "Leah? Come out, Leah!" I heard dad calling out. I put the book back on the bed and left the bedroom. "Leah, don't leave us like that! We're still touring the house." Mom exclaimed. "Sorry." I said with my head down.          (To be continued)
