Amanda Abany was... unusual. 

It wasn't her looks.

Brown hair, brown eyes. Took after her workaholic dad who never paid attention to her. 

It was the fact that, when she was eight, she became obsessed with ghosts.

Nobody ever told her what a ghost was. She just... suddenly wanted ghost hunting equiptment. 

Her favorite movie was the Ghostbusters. 

Her favorite color was pink, her favorite food *Jibaniese.

*An island near one of the poles. The native food was only meat, fruit, grain, and milk-no vegetables at all. 

Many liked Jibaniese food. Even more liked pink. No one was as obsessed with ghost hunting as Amanda. 

When she was ten, she decided to hunt in the creepy old mansion.

The old mansion was something from the late 1800s-jibani style (popular in that time) with the touch of no technology in sight. 

As Amanda walked in the door, she immediately noticed a poster with blueberries on it. It had been printed from a computer. Probably blown in. As if answering, the wind suddenly blew the door back open. And shut.

Amanda was so interested that she didn't hear the "click" as the door locked itself.
