I always remember that horrifying night when my parents and I had gone to Sleepy Hollow Castle. I was wondering around the castle when suddenly I was thrown into the ten feet deadly pool below. The unfortunate incident disturbed the stillness of Bkack Friday night. My parents and I were at home prrparing ourselves to visit Sleepy Hollow Castle. Legend was, that twelve years ago a wizard by the name of Dracula was looking through his bedroom window when he lost his balance and fell into the pool. He died instantly and ever since then his spirit had haunted the halls of Sleepy Hollow Castle. We left a short while later and arrived full of anticipation at the spooky, abandoned castle. To our surprise, a " No Trespassing Allowed " sign greeted us at the entrance. "Aww nuts!" I exclaimed in disappointment. We were really looking forward to explore the place. As we turned to leave, the gate creaked open to reveal a mountainous path towards the castle. "What are you waiting for son? Lets go!" I followed my parents up the treacherous path and wrang the doorbell. The door creaked open to reveal an old gentleman who looked like a thousand years old. Suddenly, we felt ourselves being sucked into the castle like a vortex while the old man just stood like a statue rooted to the spot. While inside, my anxiety increased so I thought that I would just explore the castle and meet my parents back in the living room. I sped off like a lightning bolt to firstly explore the upper floor. It was a dark hallway filled with dust, cobwebs and bedrooms on either sides. Out if nowhere, I heard a little girl screaming, "Help he's going to kill me!" My heart was racing yet my body could not move. There I stood, frightened and bewildered. I thought to myself, "How could this be?" I slowly approached the room like a timid mouse but no was was there. Then, I was pushed from behind by Dracula into the dark blue, deadly waters below. Before piercing through the water, I struck my head against the concrete edge of the pool. I was an amateur swimmer so I tried to swim towards the steps. Drenched to the bone, I darted back to the living room. My parents stared at me astonished wondering what had happened. "The old gentleman did it," I explained. "He is Dracula!" We immediately left the castle, before anything worse could happen, vowing not to return here again. I learnt that sometimes curiosity kills the cat.
