When you close your eyes think of me
Think of when I held you as you cried. 
Remember your painful words and your secrets you told me.
I told you your secrets are safe with me because I love you more than life. 
I broke my promise and I cried to GOD I told him all your secrets.
I begged him and pleaded with him to make you whole again. 
You saw me in a field of dandelions in your dreams and found comfort in my pretty smile. 
I saw you in the rose gardens and found comfort holding your hand.

Life can't stop me from loving you and a heart can not be stolen when you hold it captive. 
You are a brave soldier of anything of everything except LoVe. 
You said you fought in two world tours and you refuse to lose the one woman you love.
But you let the petals all fall from our rose.
Do you think I could ever see you again and walk away?
You were sacred to me
But still chose to allow the ice in your heart to hurt you. 
Time waits for nobody 
You obtained success 
But failed at LoVe.
A soldier fights all battles
All it takes is loving yourself enough to know across the country a woman dreams of you every night. 
Be brave, know that you are loved for all that life has molded you into and you became a soldier in war and in your own personal war you held the one person that knew all your demons and you prayed.
Where ever in this world we both end up
I pray for your Joy.
Remember, I loved you more than life.
God matters most and Family.
