A long time ago, I said some words to you. I told you that anywhere you are, I am near. Anywhere you go, I'll be there. Those were not just words. I may not be beside you physically, but anytime you whisper my name, you'll feel me. I don't say things I don't mean and I don't play with words on a whim. You very well know that's not me. Every single promise I will keep because what kind of a person would I be if I can't keep my word. 
What are words if you don't really mean them when you say them. What are words if they are only for good times. What are words if they are only laced with sugar when the undercoat is tasteless. I'll tell you what they are. They are just pretty words that are empty. 
So I've said the words to you out loud. I did not stammer or stutter or even hesitate when I said what I said. Now, years later, those words, they didn't go away. They still live on to this very day. 
Read between the lines. See the meanings in the rhymes. Catch the gist of things I don't often write and surmise the true nature of the things which are not in plain sight. 
I know you have the ability to get the drift of word and pen, and to understand the love within even when I don't say a thing. I know you can comprehend when you read a verse, a whole poem or even a line. And I know you can even understand the pictures that I hold within my mind.
