                POST EXAM SEASON

My exams just got over and I came back home with the exciting feeling of fulfilling all my unsatisfied desires which had been curbed due to the exams. The last exam was maths- a subject that I really didn't have any kind of an enemity with but the subject really seemed to loathe me for a reason I couldn't really look up to. Coming back to the topic... I came home and took a quick shower and went to sleep- something that I had been deprived of for a month or so. Not less than half an hour I was woken up by my mom for lunch and I can assure that waking up was worth it as the lunch was lip smacking. Just like any other common school kid I lie on my bed to relax afterwards. The rest of the days made me feel like "This Is Life". After a few days I found a list in my diary which said "Things To Do During Holidays". It had a list of all the things that I had deprived myself of during the holidays. To my at most surprise I felt the least attracted to them now. After a few days I searched on Google saying what I could do when bored. Nothing felt sensible enough and so I exited Google. The finest of the games seemed to leave my heart unsatisfied. I finally did find pleasure in reading, writing and travelling. A month did pass by and is was time for the results. The results were announced well in advance. I switched on the computer to check my results as I had no other choice. My parents comforted me by telling that marks do not define one's future. At this I felt that how much more sensible the education system would become with this thought. Realizing that this would not happen anytime soon, I moved on. My brother checked my pulse before he entered the details for the results. I can assure you that the marks were quite decent but what happened afterwards was what one should be paying attention on. No sooner than I checked my results I started receiving calls after calls. I was amazed at how many people cared about me. I can as well assure that I would have beaten the amount of calls Tom Cruise would have received on that day. I felt like a superstar....
