What exactly is this based on and who chooses? So if I write 20 really good things out of hundred,I am not considered a good writer. But if I write over 200 things of crap,I make the list. Or if I never had anything published ,I have no talent. I could write or you could write one absolutely beautiful piece, and that makes you a top writer. Someone should rethink their method of evaluating good writer's. Unless you have been on the best sellers list for a year.lol. All I'm saying is spread the appreciation around.

if you truly want an answer to this question, perhaps you should have just asked the people at Writers Outlet (i.e.: Jared) directly. I've never had Jared not respond to a question I've had about this app. Putting it out like this is like asking a medical question to a mechanic; you're not going to get a real answer, only someone's uneducated guess or opinion.

its based on the number of writing/books you write, and the number of stars and comments you get, like if you write 100 writings/ books and get 5 stars on all of them, that would make you a top writer. well at least i think its like that Jared told me how it worked and thats how i understood it, It is a combination of total writings, comments, ratings and read counts
