Yesterday was a fun filled day at camp. We rode the 4 wheelers and splashed through ever water filled mud hole on the trails and it was fun.

After that we had lunch and roasted corn on the cob in the hot fire coals. It was pretty cool. You get the fire pit all nice & hot and wet the corn leaving the husk on. Then ya throw those bad boys into the hot coals and let them roast away for 45 minutes. Good stuff. 

After we had our lunch we got a game of whiffel ball going with our friends and neighbors like every year. 

After the game we all needed to cool off so we went swimming in the lake. I won't do that again. Why? Because I had a snake swim up next to me and I wigged out. I think everyone in a 10 mile radius heard my frightful scream. I have to be honest i am terrified of snakes. Big snakes or little snakes i don't care. Everyone laughed except for JJ, thats me. 

My dad said that snakes are more afraid of us than we are them. WELL IF THATS THE CASE WHY DID IT ALMOST BUMP INTO ME DAD? 😂

Besides that it was a fun weekend. Today we go back home but I'm glad summer is here at last. Happy Memorial Day to all.
