Their mutual love was more than just a friendship
The love she had ran deeper than blood in a mortal's veins
And hence,
To her,
The bond they shared was a sisterhood...
So although she wanted to be given up on
Because she thought she was hugged by the sun
And she believed that it's rays were throwing rose petals at her,
She wasn't about to let her go
'Cause she was just too precious.
There's just too much gold in her,
Too much life she posses in that pearly vessel of shear beauty
And although she just wasn't seeing it,
She wasn't about to let her loose it.
She'd watched her pierce her own soul
And she'd held her hand as she drove a sword through her seed.
She'd stayed strong for her
And hid her own torn apart heart behind a fat ass smile, just so she could be okay.
Yet her spirit had groaned within her
And every fibre of her being had sobbed
Because she'd failed her In the name of perfect companionship.
And now she stands at a crossroad,
With the option of watching him put everything she isIn a black plastic bag and walk off with her soul under his arm.
Or make her see what she is perfectly aware of,
That there's so much more to her than the flamboyant crystal of costly worthThat greets her beholder's eye.
She's so treasured and precious, like the queen's jewellery closet where only the finest, most precious stones are kept.
And the back of her mind rang that good old saying;
"WHAT SHALL IT PROFIT A MAN TO GAIN THE WORLD AND LOOSE HIS SOUL?"
And so she loved her on purpose and deliberately clung onto her wit everything she's got
