I have a new idea for a story called Skyline. Comment if you want me to keep going. Excerpt: The acrobatic thief jumped from rooftop to rooftop. They were right behind him, but it wouldn't matter. The artifact was safe, and that was the only thing important. Then his phone rang. Reaching into his pocket, he dug through a watch, a locket, a small amount of pocket change, and several other random objects before picking up. "Do you have the package?" " Yes. " "Good. Do not forget the deal. Meet behind the usual spot and they'll be safe." He hung up. After dodging several more rockets, he decided to open the pouch. Sure, he had been told to leave it untouched, but it was time to shake these guys. The first of the artifacts within was a glowing green metal circle, with a blood red jewel encrusted within. Upon the touch of this jewel, time stopped. The bullet heading for his face froze in midair. He touched it. It was burning hot, then suddenly dead cold. He turned it around. He also repointed the bikes following him towards the edge of the building. He found a guy with his finger on the trigger of a rocket launcher and adjusted it to hit the swat car following on the streets below. After unscrewing a bolt on the blade of the helicopter (that had been pointing machine guns at him a moment ago) he returned to his original position and touched the jewel again. The bullet's 'return to sender' heading struck true, while simultaneously a swat car exploded. The bikes all crashed or flew off the roof, into the window of a building across the street, running over employees. The unstable helicopter sent rapid fire bullets at the remaining troops. It then crashed, sending sparks flying as it slid across the blue building towards him, slowly scraping him off the edge. As he reached the end, he jumped onto the next rooftop as the helicopter slid into the gap, falling to the ground with a massive, earth rumbling explosion. Continuing, he brought the pouch to the ally behind the bank. Then he saw something unexpected. On the ground lie a body, from which a head slowly tricked blood into the concrete.
