It was a cold night and outside the shelter, the alien wind howled ferociously. Trevor could not sleep due to this and put his jacket on. He went out into the open and explored his surroundings. It was nearly dawn and Trevor was still out exploring.
Back at the shelter, the rest of the survivors began to wake up. "Morning" said The Captain. "Good Morning Captain" everyone said.Just then, Trevor reappeared with some wood. 
"Morning, you've been busy." greeted Katy. "Yeah, just wanted to get some supplies to make a fire so we could warm up" replied Trevor. Everyone then got to work taking turns to start a fire using the wood, it didn't take long to start one and one by one, they sat by the fire to get warm.
"Right, today we are going to explore this planet further, so grab your stuff and let's get moving" The Captain said enthusiastically. Everyone was warmed up and so they went exploring. About half way through the expedition, they came across a deserted beach, looked at it for a few minutes and carried on going. 
"We shouldn't be far now, I can sense that something is ahead" exclaimed The Captain. When they reached the end of the path they were travelling on, The Survivors surveyed their surroundings and saw a City up ahead. "A City!, Let's go check it out" mentioned Sadie, another Survivor. 
They all headed towards the City, but came to a abrupt halt when they saw the sight that greeted them. The City was deserted, trees destroyed and buildings shattered. Why did anyone let this happen?.
