It is so easy to look back, 
We think to ourselves all the millions of ways things could have been different if we'd just changed our minds or didn't talk to that one person who didn't realize that they were standing on the way of us talking to that person who we'd finally worked up the courage to talk to. 

However good that would have been it didn't happen,  you didn't take that chance, go on that trip, or have that first kiss. 
Darling but you took different chances, went other places,  and will have different first kisses and that's okay. Whatever happened was not the end, you are not doomed to failure or a horrible life simply because it doesn't look the way it could have. 

We were born to trust, to love, to hope against all odds that everything would turn out okay.

I'm not asking you simply to forgive your friend, parents, or even yourself.  I am hoping that you will realize  that sometimes reality can be better than your wildest dream.
