Today's song of the day is Oh, Pretty Woman. Written in 1964 by Bill Dees and Roy Orbison and recorded by Roy Orbison, it was the second number one hit for Orbison and ended up selling over seven million copies. 

Oh, Pretty Woman is a great love song with a memorable opening guitar riff and sung by one of the most unique vocalists in the history of music. It has been covered by artists such as Chris Isaak, Al Green and most famously by Van Halen. It is in the Grammy Hall of Fame and also preserved in the Library of Congress in the National Recording Registry.
