After the long lasting exam has ended, and the results were announced Burun was feeling so stupid after getting just 13 marks in Mathematics test. Though, he got 80 marks in Bangla, 60 in English, 45 in Hindi but just 13 in Mathematics. 
His problems were starting from the day of result. His father was a very mysterious man. He was a doctor who  never believed in herbal medicines. But in turn his father was a herbal doctor. No many people came to his shop but he was very optimistic in coming days!!!

Anyways Burun's father was such kind of person that if not needed, he would not talk to anyone for two-three weeks!!!
So, Burun and his siblings think him as a mysterious person. And don't wanted to come under his eyes.
Well, today Burun had to. His father was about to go hospital, as he saw him hanging sthetoscope in his neck. His father opened his hands for having Burun's report card. 
He looked at the card in light anger. And while returning the report card,
'I wasn't too good at maths at my time. Maybe I never got 80 marks but there was no problem in getting 40-50 marks. From the next week you are going to Karali sir's for studying Maths. That's my last decision. You will have to go there and come back on foot. Now your problems are beginning to start. This is first one and afterwards the other problems will come. Be ready to them.''

The problem of going two and half a kilometer on foot was annoying Burun. He was very angry on his father.
'What the heck!!' He murmured. 
Maybe after understanding the problem, his father said,'Know what, Rabindra Nath Tagore was son of a rich man but, lived among the servants. You all are living with comforts but not now. In next exams come to me with good marks, otherwise you will have to live like this.' 
And went away.

Burun became very sad. After the days he had to suffer from many problems. No one except his grandfather behaved with him like before. His mummy even don't looked at him. His brother and sister too, remain side from Burun. One day Burun told her sister his back is itching, so bring a itching cream for him. His sister Beli replied, 
'Take it yourself. Papa has told us not to talk to you.'
After this, Burun completely knew that he was like a servant here. Even he wasn't able to order the servants. It was a very big shame to him.
 After that he went to the cage of his pet canary. Just then, she started crying'
'Burun got 13 marks in Maths....'
Business astonished. Who has told this canary this sentence. Actually, the canary was very clever. If anyone speaks any sentence even one time, she imitates it very quickly.
And maybe someone has made her imitate the sentence to insult Burun.
Burun can tolerate anything but not this.
After that he went out as all were sleeping in the evening and his grandfather with one servant has gone to the nearby forest.
Meanwhile, Burun left the house and went in the direction of Gosain Bagan
, which was a great ghosts and forest area.

All the trees there were very beautiful. There was a large pond known as, 'Samudra Dighi'. The water was very pure but due to ghosty area no one went there. There were also best trees of palms in the whole area. But as it was too dark there no one dared to go. Some of the palm trees were outside the area. All the boys of the village came and ate them. Today Burun was very annoyed and thought to go in the forest covered with ghosty silence and toxic leaves and animals......
