For those of us wondering why the hell the Republican led Congress has not opened meaningful investigations into Russian interference of our election process, we picked-up a valuable clue. It was reported today that Alexander Torshin, a Russian politician with close ties to Putin and the Kremlin, has visited with a number of right wing Republicans, including Sarah Palin. Add this to what we know about the Russian cash funnel to the Republican National Committee and Trump campaign via laundered contributions through the NRA and the explanation for Republican disinterest becomes obvious. What other possible explanation could there be other than the Republican Party are willing participants, co-conspirers with the Russians? Ronald Reagan is undoubtedly spinning in his grave. Sad!
