There's a darkness inside everyone, Some of us hide it better than others. Some of us embrace it and Few of us Fear it. I feared who I may become for a while. I never realised that it was in my DNA.

                    || 10 Years Ago ||

"Happy birthday to you!" They sang as my face lit up with Glee. The 8 pink candles sat on the Pink Barbie iced cake, Flamed and ready to be blown out. When the song came to a end, I shut my hazel coloured eyes, and made a wish. As I open my eyes, I blown out each candle, Hoping my wish will come true. "Whooooo!" Everyone cheered and clapped. It was that moment I felt special, wanted... I felt normal. As I stood up to collect the slice of fresh cream n' fruit cake my mum had cut for me... Time slowed, sound was louder. I could hear my neighbours conversation as if it were my own, I looked around in panic... Then everything went normal. I realized it really didn't last that long, but it felt like forever.
