India, as the matter of fact is the most religious country in the world. It has preserved many religions, languages, Cultures etc. As we all know every coin has 2 sides, so as india, it too has 2 sides. Let me explain you the first side that is the good side. 

 India is not a place, it is the people who make india, India. All the people in india are on one side homo sapeins and on the other belong to a community,caste or a specific religion. There are various religions so as the gods in India. There are more than a thousand gods to which people believe in. Different people believe in different gods though knowing that nobody ever saw them. In India most of the places has peace and prosperity. One of the mesmerizing views in India is when people perform their respected cultures putting all their heart in it. People of different religions and castes coming together strengthening there bonds of friendship and making the environment nostalgic. Co-existence and peaceful nature of different cultures mixed together. 
Now lets see the other side of the coin.

India got freedom in 1947 but still it is very hard to say that every person in India is free. One of the hardest thing is to be a girl in India. Every girl/woman in India has to follow a set of rules by birth like, never maintain an eye to eye contact with a man for more than 4 seconds it may give that man an invitation to your vagina. People are scared to let their daughters or wives to roam freely on the streets. Girls are not allowed to dress as they want they have to dress like others want. Most hardest thing for a girl is to deal with the public's mentality. Girls here are judged by their clothes,by their walking style and various things. In India when a girl and a boy hugged in front of an elderly they were beaten by the public but if the same elderly pisses of the side of the road nobody will say a thing. Girls in India are so dominated and tortured that sometimes they are afraid of their own father or brother. Every purity of a relationship is ruined. Girls are not allowed overreact, date, adjust clothes in public, talk too loudly, talk too softly, stay out past 7 p.m and many more things. 

Nobody really accepts it but it is one of the major reasons why India is still "under development ".
