If Lucas knew what would happen when he set set a towel on fire in the bathroom, he wouldn't have done it. Lev slapped him upside the head when Lucas walked out of his bathroom covered in soot, ashes, and with singed hair tips and burnt hands. "You idiot," his brother said affectionately. Lucas just scowled and ignored Nick, his brother's best friend. "Why didn't you tell me not to do it?" He asked Lev. "Cuz I know you would've done it anyways," Nick spoke up. Lev rolled his eyes. Then he nodded. "Yeah..." Joel, Lucas' not-so-twin brother, darted into the hallway and stopped, seeing his twin. He arched an eyebrow. "You going to Isaac's house? To live?" "Don't be racist," Lev snapped. Isaac was a boy who lived next door. He was an African American. Joel lifted an eyebrow. "Ok. Hey, Nick, can you make brownies?" "Can't You?" The blond shot back, rolling his green-gray eyes. Joel's blue eyes, pale as ice, stared at Nick until he looked hopefully at Lucas. "Fine," Lucas growled. "Let me take a shower first." "Isn't that what you were supposed to be doing?" Lev asked. Lucas flipped the curly-haired boy off as he shut the bathroom door and locked it, and he heard the three boys burst out laughing. Lucas shook his head as he turned the shower on.
